I haven't done it myself, but it is apparently possible to do this if you copy your entire BOINC folder.

The process will be:

1. suspend and close BOINC;

2. copy the whole BOINC folder to CD/DVD if you do not have a local network;

3. install BOINC on the new machine;

4. copy the old BOINC folder over the top.

But there are problems to watch:

a. when you copy to CD/DVD the files will become read only, and you will need to change the staus back before running BOINC;

b. SETI and possibly other projects won't let you transfer WUs so if you are running multi-project you will need to complete outstanding WUs first or discard them by resetting that project.

Others may be able to point out other possible difficultes.
